It's no secret that in today's data-driven world, companies that effectively use data to make decisions have a competitive advantage. Our talk is not about why you should become a data-driven company, but how you should do it. The focus will be on guiding the change of the organizational mindset through a holistic approach including people, infrastructure and use cases for unlocking the full potential of data! The talk will also touch on the challenges that companies face in their data-driven journey and how to overcome them.

Mariana Hebborn has the responsibility for one of the most valuable assets of our time: data, as Data Governance Lead at Merck Healthcare.
Mariana Hebborn has many years of experience in data analytics, governance, and management. She holds a PhD in Computational Data Processing and to date has worked and led several teams and projects in Data Science and Data Digitization for various companies such as IBM, Fujitsu and Viridium Group in Europe and Asia.
When she is not busy with data-driven missions, she is dedicated to her family and sports activities.
Heiko Beier is an IT professional with 25+ years of experience in designing architectures and data-driven AI-based solutions for automation of business processes. As founder and CEO of Moresophy he combines visionary and strategic thinking with profound knowledge on advanced data intelligence and the ability to execute and motivate teams. His focus is on techniques and processes for implementing explainable, trusted AI on bulk information across the full value chain. As part-time professor he is also a renowned keynote speaker for topics regarding the effective compliant use of AI.
Mit Fundamenten in Actuarial Science, Computer Science und Wirtschaftswissenschaften ist Dr. Jan-Hendrik Weinert ein Datenstratege und Experte für Risk Analytics, der sich dafür einsetzt, eine Kultur der datengetriebenen Entscheidungsfindung in der Finanz- und Versicherungsbranche voranzutreiben. Als Architekt der unternehmensweiten Analytics-Plattform und eines Datenvirtualisierungslayers der Viridium Gruppe fördert er die unternehmensweite, dezentrale Zusammenarbeit mit Daten und beschleunigt die Entwicklung hin zu einem datengetriebenen Versicherer. Sein Engagement trägt dazu bei, die Lücke zwischen Technologie und Geschäftswelt zu schließen.
