Töresin Karakoyun

Töresin Karakoyun has a diploma’s degree in computer sciences with part-time studies in theoretical medicine from the Technical University Dortmund. In his career, he has built extensive knowledge and experience in disparate industries and domains, such as logistics and supply chain management at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics Dortmund and headed the research unit Clinical Research Informatics at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.
Actually he is responsible as an IT business partner within Bayer’s Pharma R&D organization for the IT portfolio and strategy of the business function “Data Sciences and Analytics”, that supports the conduct of clinical trials globally from data acquisition from patients or healthy volunteers to data analytics to submission to the regulatory authorities.
