Jürgen Bohn

Dr. Jürgen Bohn is the Director of the Data Architecture & Engineering group in the Coordination Digitalization department at Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Jürgen received a Master's degree (Diplom) in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, in 2000, and his PhD (Dr. sc. techn.) from the ETH Zürich, Switzerland, in 2006. In line with Schaeffler's strategic vision of 'Mobility for tomorrow', his mission is to provide Schaeffler business units with a holistic view of and facilitated access to enterprise data and knowledge. The aim is to empower integrated end-to-end business processes, high-performance big data analytics applications, and novel data-driven business models. He achieves this through a unified data architecture that he implements with his team of data experts on the Schaeffler Cloud using best-of-breed data integration and big data technologies.
