Special Day Confluent │ Breaking Batch: Ein Tag rund ums Daten-Streaming
Special Day Confluent │ Breaking Batch: Ein Tag rund ums Daten-Streaming

Was wollen wir an diesem Special Day vorstellen und diskutieren?

Special Day Confluent │ Event-driven integration architectures for Allianz
Special Day Confluent │ Event-driven integration architectures for Allianz

Integration architectures are the key to modern architectures in every case. It is valid for green-field project, but especially in evolving existing architectures to modern architectures. To bring legacy systems in the cloud highly decoupled systems are necessary. To do so, event-driven architectures are necessary, because decoupling can easily be achieved via events. The talk shows how an event-driven architecture can help to evolve an existing architecture to the state of the art.

Dr. Annegret Junker is Principal Architect at Allianz in Germany. She has worked in software development for over 30 years. She worked in quite different roles and domains. Especially is she interested in DDD, microservices and everything along with it. Actually, she is working in a large integration project and defines APIs for partners.

Special Day Confluent │ Data Analytics in Motion
Special Day Confluent │ Data Analytics in Motion

Data in motion itself requires a rethinking of how to handle data and what an IT architecture should look like. This opens new ways of analyzing data in near real-time. We’ll have a look at the possibilities of data analytics in motion.

  • Which use cases can be covered?
  • What technologies can be used for real-time analytics?
  • What differences are there to batch analytics?

Prerequisites: none
Level: Basic

Dr. Nadine Schoene: Technical generalist covering the whole data-value-chain (data storage and access, data engineering, data science, MLOps, Trusted AI) for batch as well as real-time data. Curious problem solver with an interdisciplinary and structured approach. Team builder that makes things happen.
Driven by continuous learning and research and passionate about passing on the results. Loves to speak to all kinds of audiences (technical experts, C-level, business, as well as students).
