Marcus Gilg is Head of IT/CIO at DB Regio Bus. He has a long experience in data management, digitization and public transportation. After previous positions in transport management, e-commerce and M&A, he took over the position as Head of IT in 2014 with the ambition to modernize the ICT of the bus company of Deutsche Bahn. Marcus established a 100% cloud strategy and renewed the whole IT-infrastructure for around 9.000 employees. At present, the focus of his team is digitization, automation and modularization. In this context, Marcus successfully established the data excellence initiative of DB Regio Bus. Since its start, data availability and data quality have enormously improved, as well as the ability related to transform the company with data.

Dr. Christian Fürber is a recognized data expert with over 20 years of experience across the entire data management & strategy spectrum. Throughout his career, Christian has served in numerous roles from Data Engineer to Data Owner, giving him a comprehensive understanding of data challenges at every organizational level.

Christian established one of Germany's first Data Governance organizations at the German Federal Armed Forces, implementing one of the first data strategies back in 2009. At OMMAX, Christian leads an experienced team that has successfully executed numerous data projects and strategies for renowned companies across multiple industries. His focus consistently centers on generating substantial business value from his clients' data assets.
