Was wollen wir an diesem Special Day vorstellen und diskutieren?
Discover the power of combining Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Confluent for real-time analytics and data streaming. This talk explores the synergistic capabilities of both platforms in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance streaming architectures.Learn how AWS data services and Confluent's Apache Kafka-based platform for managing event-driven architectures combine to deliver a solution for your business. Gain practical insights into integration strategies, data transformation, stream processing, and data integration patterns. Join us to unlock the full potential of real-time analytics and data streaming in today's data-driven landscape.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of what Kafka and Data Streaming are
Nuno Barreto is a Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), specializing in data and analytics. With his vast experience in building successful products in multiple verticals, including the banking domain in Switzerland, he is helping Customers and Partners to develop secure and compliant data solutions in their cloud journey.
Have you ever wondered how a modern event analytics pipeline is different from a classical ETL setup? In this talk you will learn how to design and set up an analytics pipeline in just a few minutes, using Kafka for delivery, ksqlDB for preprocessing, and Apache Druid for real time OLAP.
Voraussetzungen: Basic knowledge of what Kafka and Data Streaming are
Hellmar Becker is a Senior Developer Advocate at Imply. He has been in the software industry for more than 20 years in various pre- and post-sales roles, with a focus on online analytics and big data. Hellmar has worked with large customers in the finance, telco and retail industries, including a full time position at ING Bank for 3 years. Integration architectures are the key to modern architectures in every case. It is valid for green-field project, but especially in evolving existing architectures to modern architectures. To bring legacy systems in the cloud highly decoupled systems are necessary. To do so, event-driven architectures are necessary, because decoupling can easily be achieved via events. The talk shows how an event-driven architecture can help to evolve an existing architecture to the state of the art.
Dr. Annegret Junker is Principal Architect at Allianz in Germany. She has worked in software development for over 30 years. She worked in quite different roles and domains. Especially is she interested in DDD, microservices and everything along with it. Actually, she is working in a large integration project and defines APIs for partners.
Bruno Fontoura Costa leads the integration architecture at Allianz Technology SE. Especially his team, and he is responsible for the global event bus system at Allianz. Bruno works in Software Industry for over 20 years. He is especially interested how to integrate quite different software applications in the cloud.
Data in motion itself requires a rethinking of how to handle data and what an IT architecture should look like. This opens new ways of analyzing data in near real-time. We’ll have a look at the possibilities of data analytics in motion.
Dr. Nadine Schoene: Technical generalist covering the whole data-value-chain (data storage and access, data engineering, data science, MLOps, Trusted AI) for batch as well as real-time data. Curious problem solver with an interdisciplinary and structured approach. Team builder that makes things happen.
Driven by continuous learning and research and passionate about passing on the results. Loves to speak to all kinds of audiences (technical experts, C-level, business, as well as students).
We will learn about the latest MLOPs strategies and how to approach application deployment for production using various cloud-native technologies.
We will illustrate how the infrastructure, model and pipeline templates built by Data Reply reduce the time needed to get a QA application into production, allowing manufacturers to reap the significant benefits these machine learning applications can offer.
Emiliano Tomaselli is a seasoned Solution Architect with over 15 years of IT experience. He specializes in delivering MLOps projects, bringing machine learning solutions into production using various methodologies and technology stacks.
With his deep understanding of technology, his passion for innovation, Emiliano can provide practical guidance on implementing MLOps solutions, emphasizing the importance of aligning machine learning projects with business objectives.
