Swisscom implemented a modern analytics platform based on Microsoft Azure to integrate vast amounts from technical and commercial sources. Among other use cases, the customer can now predict the arrival times of their trains in near-real time. The platform is based on a loosely-coupled architecture consisting solely of native PaaS services and leverages modern IaC capabilities to fully automate the deployment.
